Xpeng, a new electric car manufacturer from China, has been active on the European market since spring 2024 and is now also starting in Austria. The aim is to quickly establish a nationwide dealer network, which should already include eight locations by the end of this year. By 2026, Xpeng plans to expand to 20 sales and service locations throughout Germany.
At the market launch, Xpeng is bringing the G6, G9 and P7 models to Austria. All vehicles are fully electric and are assembled for the European market at the Magna factory in Graz.

The company was founded in 2014 by former Guangzhou Automobile Group managers and has been led by He Xiaopeng, co-founder of browser developer UCWeb, as CEO since 2017. Xpeng has already sold over 800,000 vehicles worldwide and is one of the fastest growing electric brands in China.
