The Society for Consumer Studies (ÖGVS) recently tested six online used car portals active in Austria and named willhaben's car and motor division as the overall winner with 93.3% target achievement.

As part of the study, the portals automobile.at, autoscout24.at, bazar.at, kleinanzeigen.at, mobile.de and willhaben were analyzed. Result: Willhaben achieved first place in the regularly scheduled study for the third time. The scope of the offering, user-friendliness and sales opportunities were analyzed based on the ten best-selling used cars in Austria, some popular upper middle class models and classic cars. Based on around 164,000 advertisements, willhaben was able to deliver very satisfactory results for every search query. For example, 151 hits were achieved for an Audi A6 built in 2017. In order to measure sales opportunities, test advertisements were published on all portals and the response was recorded. The user-friendliness of the portals was also examined. Specific filter criteria for searchers and advertisers simplify the use of the platform. willhaben was also able to score points here thanks to extensive selection options such as equipment, paint, fuel or drive.
