Webinars: AkzoNobel brings painters up to date
The paint specialist AkzoNobel is launching a series of compact and free online seminars. Those curious can choose from an extensive range of webinars and receive live and interactive training on current repair and processing topics from the Sikkens and Lesonal brands.
The focus of the training, which each lasts 45 to 90 minutes, is on basic topics such as digital color determination with MIXIT, spot repair and effective surface preparation, as well as special topics such as painting plastic parts, the repair process of three-coat colors or repairing matt finishes. Product training on primers and fillers, clear coats or water-based paints round off the webinar offering.
Lively exchange
"With our online seminar program, we address beginners, advanced users and experts alike. We consciously focus on small groups of a maximum of six to eight participants. We hope that this will result in a particularly lively exchange when we go live on air in a small seminar size and the participants can have their say directly," says Raimondo Stau, AkzoNobel's education and training coordinator. For a maximum of knowledge transfer via online, the seminars are an interactive mix of compact specialist information and video courses with step-by-step explanations, which are flexibly supplemented by question-and-answer sessions.
The webinars are an addition to the analogue training program: "Not only during the current pandemic period, but also elsewhere, for many companies, the further training and support of employees is associated with a lot of effort given the increasingly thin staffing levels. Webinars offer the opportunity to train employees in a more timely and cost-effective manner and to flexibly adapt their further training to the current situation." Additionally, the webinar can be recorded for later learning purposes. All training content is also available for download.
