Warm rain and mess!
The Ministry of Finance took its time, but it is now clear: Dem Vehicle tradingstands inSales compensation of 20 percentto. You can find all the details here on the official COFAG website. In short: Motor vehicle companies can do thisTrading turnover from November 2019submit and receive20 percent of which is refunded.
Chairman of the Federal Vehicle Trade CommitteeKlaus Edelsbrunneris pleased with this solution:"I'm glad that we're finally getting something. March and April hit us hard. Spring is our strongest time. The sales replacement of 20 percent of the 2019 trading turnover is an important help. A warm rain, if you will."Financial help is important right now, salaries are doubled, and trading - both new and used cars - has come to a complete standstill. Used cars in particular are dead capital.
“A horrible mess”is according to Edelsbrunnernew NoVA regulation(to be introduced from July 1st, 2021) which was submitted via an initiative proposal. An assessment is not planned. The interest groups were not involved. Edelsbrunner says:"What happened here was just horrible, caught us off guard and is incomprehensible. Normally we as an industry are involved in such far-reaching decisions in advance, we negotiate and look for solutions. This time there was no such thing. The new NoVA regulation will noticeably affect every driver, as practically all types of cars are becoming more expensive."
The introduction of a NoVA for light commercial vehicles is particularly questionable.“This really affects everyone in business,”says Edelsbrunner, very angry. Of course, the increased acquisition costs for transport vehicles must be factored into the companies' products and services - prices will rise.
Edelsbrunner promises:"We will make our displeasure more than clear. The new regulation affects every commuter, every family, every entrepreneur. First you (note: the government) distribute the money in the form of Corona aid, only to then immediately take the money away from us again with new tax increases. That's a mess."
