Wallbox world first from Austria

The lack of electricity quantity and price labeling at e-charging stations will soon be over. Up to now, charging station operators have used different billing options that were often incomprehensible to the user. Initially in Germany, and hopefully soon in Austria, charging processes should only be billed based on consumption. The customer therefore pays for exactly the energy that was charged. This is made possible by the innovative KeContact P30 ME wallbox from the Linz-based automation expert Keba, which meets all the requirements of German measurement and calibration law. The data is stored locally in certified long-term storage, which means that all requirements are met so that the Keba Wallbox can be used with any backend of your choice in compliance with calibration law. At the end of the loading process, a signed data set is automatically passed on to the operator's backend for billing. “With our wallbox, which complies with measurement and calibration law, we are once again showing that Keba is actively shaping and advancing electromobility with a lot of pioneering and inventive spirit,” says Gerhard Weidinger, Vice President E-Mobility at Keba.
