VW presents the new CrossPolo

It is said to be a “Polo for the urban jungle”, the youngest offspring from Volkswagen. The small car stands out from its siblings at first glance with underrun protection on the front and rear bumpers as well as black covers on the wheel arches, sills and doors. There are also silver painted exterior mirrors, silver anodized roof rails and two new metallic colors “Honey Orange” and “Titanium Beige”. Although VW has not equipped the Cross Polo with all-wheel drive, it has equipped it with slightly increased ground clearance, which, like the standard sports seats, benefits driving comfort. Two petrol and two diesel engines are available, their performance ranges from 55 kW / 75 HP to 66 kW / 90 HP. It's interesting, by the way, how the sales figures for the cross version of the Polo have so far differed according to the federal states: In Burgenland they were lowest at 1% of total Polo sales, in Carinthia and Styria they reached at least 25 percent each.
