VDA Logistics Award for Continental

Continental-Team: Simone Corres (Referent Supply Chain Risk and Process Management), Petra Becker (Head of Supply Network and SC Risk Management), Jürgen Braunstetter (Leiter Supply Chain Management Automotive), Tatjana Wagner (Manager Organizational Development Automotive IT) (v.l.)

Not only are vehicles becoming increasingly networked and communicating with each other and with their environment, Continental's increasingly complex supply chains are also benefiting from digitalization. Intelligent supply chain management allows for even better coordination of the supplier network and, for example, helps to identify raw material bottlenecks earlier, avoid them or deal with them much better. With “Supply Risk Management 4.0”, Continental has developed a concept that significantly reduces the supply risk. To achieve this, the company relies on a cloud solution with intelligent algorithms that allows risk management experts to quickly identify whether there is a risk of bottlenecks due to the failure of material deliveries.
