Unterberger relies on e-mobility
Unterberger Automobile, western Austria's largest BMW and Mini dealer, signed the contracts with the BMW Group for the official distribution of BMW i vehicles in Vorarlberg.

Unterberger relies on e-mobility

With its own BMW i contract, Unterberger Dornbirn now has the electric and hybrid models BMW i3 and BMW i8 constantly in the showroom and as demonstration cars for test drives on site. Previously, Vorarlberg BMW i customers had to purchase their vehicles from Unterberger's BMW and Mini location in Innsbruck. Dieter Unterberger, managing partner of Unterberger Automobile, emphasizes: “We have now been active in the area of alternative mobility for around six years and have a corresponding lead in know-how.” The last two years of experience with the BMW i models in particular have shown that well-thought-out electric vehicles can establish themselves on the market and are increasingly in demand among customers. Currently, every BMW i3 is funded with up to 4,000 euros, depending on whether various criteria are met. “From 2016, the i3 will also be eligible for input tax deduction and the benefit in kind will no longer apply,” explains operations manager Markus Spiegel. BMW Unterberger Dornbirn was upgraded for complete service, maintenance and repair work on the BMW i models and equipped with the necessary charging infrastructure.
