The independent Graz engine development company increased its workforce to 8,600, an increase of 550 compared to 2015. There are currently 3,630 employees at the headquarters in Graz. According to AVL CEO Helmut List, the broad portfolio of different drive systems, from combustion engines to electric motors to fuel cells, made a decisive contribution to success. The AVL “Motor and Environment” conference taking place in Graz in June will address the growing diversity of drive systems. The topic is: “Competition of drive concepts for CO2-and emissions minimization 2020/2025”.
