Nobody cares about small workshops”
Thomas Grömer, founder of EasyKFZ, speaks in an interview with KFZ Wirtschaft about how small local businesses are left out by software providers.

Nobody cares about small workshops”

Automotive business: Mr. Grömer, with EasyKFZ you promise a simple software solution for automotive businesses. Aren't there already enough solutions?
Thomas Grömer:No, because we deliberately focus on small and micro businesses. All those in which the mechanic may write the invoice himself. A software solution must be easy to use and administer. Nobody is interested in school enrollment. If I struggle with the program every day, then the program is crap. It's that simple. That's why we developed EasyKFZ. It's easy to use, self-explanatory, requires no installation and no expensive training days. It couldn't be easier. In addition, our workshops also talk to the boss, namely me.
Sounds like the Holy Grail of workshop software solutions.
It's not that difficult. The big software shops only look at the big contract workshops and want to get in there as partners. Nobody cares about the small, independent businesses. They are only sold expensive, overly complicated solutions with countless additional modules that no one needs. The order folder for these software offers alone covers several A4 pages. Nobody can see through it anymore. Workshop IT is intended to make everyday work easier, so we took a close look at what workshops really need and what they don't. With the help of our customers, we found out that companies can charge around twelve percent more working hours with EasyKFZ. Why? Because order processing has become easier and also saves your nerves. That's all the business owner cares about, everything else is bullshit!
What do you do differently than your competitors?
We come from the mechanic side rather than the accountant side. The big software companies pay attention to how the data comes out in the end and develop from there to the user - from back to front. This is wrong and complicates operation. That's why we turned the tables, put the mechanic or user in the foreground and developed the entire software around them. The result is an understandable, simple, inexpensive, mobile solution with no commitment, no hidden costs. Anyone who wants to try it out can create a free test account and try it out. Switching to our program, including all inventory data, takes less than 24 hours. If the user is dissatisfied, he or she can switch back with all the data at any time. We don't want to force anyone with contracts, we want to score points with quality and comfort.
