UK taxis are coming to Austria

LEVC (London Electric Vehicle Company) starts on the Austrian market with Grünzweig Automobil. The dealership is based in Wiener Neudorf and offers full sales and customer service support for LEVC’s growing product range – TX Taxi, TX Shuttle and the VN5 electric van.

The new NoVA regulation for commercial vehicles will come into force in July 2021. This is expected to increase demand for vans with electric powertrains as customers want to avoid additional costs. The two main models TX and VN5 currently manufactured by LEVC are NoVA-exempt in Austria. In preparation for the new role as a LEVC specialist dealer, Grünzweig Automobil is also installing fast charging facilities at the company location.

Andreas Grünzweig, managing director of the Grünzweig car dealership, says: "We are the first to offer the sustainable LEVC electric vehicles for the Austrian market. Side by side with our new partner, we are investing in innovative and sustainable mobility. The VN5 in particular offers great potential for customers to get involved in a clean and efficient means of transport for the delivery industry. We look forward to an exciting collaboration with LEVC."

Martin Rada, Managing Director LEVC Europe: "With Autohaus Grünzweig we have found a professional and experienced partner in Vienna who shares our passion for future mobility solutions. The demand for zero-emission vehicles is growing rapidly in Austria, especially in the capital, and I look forward to working with Grünzweig to establish our brand and products in this progressive market."
