Toyota Insurance Service (TIS) launched in Austria in January 2021 and is a fixed component in all major European markets. Toyota insurance is now being continuously integrated into the entire domestic Toyota dealer network in order to be able to offer customers a complete range - together with financing from Toyota Kreditbank.
Toyota customers should receive tailor-made product solutions and exclusive bonus conditions. In addition to individual advice directly in the car dealership, professional claims management aims to ensure simple and uncomplicated claims processing and the best service quality in the Toyota specialist workshop. All types of vehicle insurance are offered, such as liability and various comprehensive insurance.
Toyota insurance has been established in Germany for many years.
"We see ourselves as a competence center for Toyota in all insurance matters in Austria and want to deliver the best service. With our offer we will both delight our customers and strengthen our dealer network. We are developing innovative products based on our vehicle models and connected services and will thus become a relevant provider on the market in the area of usage-based insurance."says Martin Fraiss, Managing Director of TIS Austria.
New model: hybrid insurance
With hybrid insurance it is possible to experience a reduction in the insurance premium. The offer is based on the principle: the longer the distance traveled is driven electrically, the more the user can save. To obtain information about individual vehicle usage behavior, the customer can use Toyota's free MyT app. Here the customer finds out what percentage and how many kilometers of the distance traveled were driven in EV mode. The possible follow-up bonus is also shown here, which applies from the next insurance year.
