Toyota supports MIVA
On behalf of a good cause, it is very important to Toyota Austria to once again support the Mission Transport Association (MIVA) in its charitable work. MIVA has made it its mission to procure vehicles for churches and development cooperation projects: depending on requirements, cars or off-road vehicles, motorcycles, bicycles, tractors, agricultural equipment, and in some cases boats or small ships, airplanes or pack animals. While Europe often suffers from too much traffic and long traffic jams, especially on motorways, many people in the poorest countries lack mobility. The idea of MIVA is: Mobility is shareable. You can give something from Europe's abundance to those who need it. A network of solidarity and, in many cases, friendship has long stretched from Stadl-Paura (Upper Austria) to partners all over the world.
"MIVA does a great job and supports those with mobility who need it most. We are proud that a great deal of trust is placed in our Toyota vehicles and are pleased to be able to contribute a small part to MIVA's large sphere of influence with this donation," says Heiko Twellmann, Managing Director of Toyota Austria.
