Toyota relatively stable
Cumulatively, the Japanese manufacturer's market share development is still green: + 0.3 percentage points compared to the previous year's value, resulting in a total of 2.3% market share and 3,590 new registrations after the first eight months. This means Toyota increases its market share cumulatively by 15%. In addition to passenger car models, the manufacturer's portfolio also includes a number of light commercial vehicles in class N1 with a total weight of up to 3,500 kg. This includes the Hilux, Land Cruiser truck and Proace family models. Together with these models, Toyota is the most popular Japanese brand in Austria and takes first place among Japanese manufacturers from January to August. A total of 4,076 new registrations were achieved.
