Toyota with guarantee offensive

With the new “Toyota Relax” warranty model, the Japanese manufacturer is offering a new package for its models. Regardless of whether customers have bought their Toyota as a new car from an authorized dealer or as a used car privately through an advertisement: As proof of the quality, reliability and longevity of the vehicles, they automatically receive a follow-up guarantee for twelve months or 15,000 kilometers. The only requirement is that the Toyota is not older than ten years and does not have a total mileage of 160,000 kilometers has exceeded and the service is carried out by an authorized Toyota dealer.
A complete service history is not necessary. If one or more service entries are missing, the used Toyota will receive a twelve-month follow-up warranty after the next service at an authorized workshop. This means that customers can also take advantage of the annual warranty extension for a used Toyota, even without a complete service booklet.

A big advantage is that the Europe-wide guarantee is vehicle-related: If it is resold, it is transferred to the new owner. This is intended to create transparency, value stability and planning security. The Toyota Relax warranty includes a large part of the material costs for mechanical and electronic components as well as the contractual partner's labor costs. Only wearing parts and similar components are excluded from the guarantee.

Toyota Relax applies to all Toyota models produced for the European market - regardless of whether they are combustion engines or electric motors, hybrid or fuel cell vehicles.
