Donation from Gady to Caritas

The Southern Styria Wine Brotherhood has made it its mission to support a social project in the region once a year. This year, the annual membership fee of the wine brothers and wine sisters will entirely benefit the Caritas winter emergency aid with the cold telephone and the cold bus. Philipp Gady, patron of the Southern Styrian Wine Brotherhood, together with wine sister Ingrid Gady, handed over a suitable Gady Opel vehicle to Caritas director Herbert Beiglböck on behalf of all members. This vehicle is made available to Caritas free of charge from November to April and is used as a cold bus in Graz during this period.

Ingrid Gady is a volunteer member of the cold bus team herself and has already had experience with this important facility last winter: "For me, the 'cold bus' project is a nice opportunity to give these people back a piece of their human dignity. Even if it's just through a 'warming word'. Because no one should have to spend the night outdoors in winter." Caritas director Herbert Beiglböck is grateful for the support: "We are experiencing that emergencies are increasing and homeless people need a variety of help from us. With this donation we can come closer to our goal: no one should have to spend the night outdoors in winter. Thank you very much for this donation, which makes it possible to give a hand to people in extreme emergencies."
