Seat Ibiza: Your Xcellence
Sporty; dynamic; young. Of course, all sorts of nice adjectives could be attributed to the third generation of the Seat Ibiza. The fact that these are actually true is already evident from the successful Spanish design work, which is nevertheless not too far removed from the VW Golf. Whether you like it or not is a matter of taste. With its sleek exterior, the small car definitely has the potential to win over a young customer base.

Seat Ibiza: Your Xcellence

Feel
Behind the valance, the first thing you notice is the high-quality leather-covered steering wheel. The angular fittings and consoles are neatly fitted and the 8-inch touchscreen dominates the center console with clear and concise controls. It's very nice that finding your way around here doesn't become a lengthy procedure before you hit the road.
Drive
Already in the first few kilometers the Ibiza conjured up a convincing performance on the asphalt. The speedster, manufactured in Martorell, runs its course in a lively manner. The direct steering and tight suspension settings allow agile maneuvering - even the narrowest of streets can be negotiated effortlessly. In the high speed range, the lightweight car growls a little strained, but it never lacked sufficient power.
Load
With a trunk volume of 355 liters and a double loading floor, even longer shopping trips are guaranteed. Several packages full of impact wrenches could be easily stored in it (see picture gallery). In addition, the loading sill at 70 centimeters is in a very acceptable range. When it comes to convenient charging, it doesn't have to hide from the competition.
Conclusion
The Ibiza can be understood as a statement: Even a young target group does not have to forego all luxury in the small car segment. However, what is offered depends heavily on the respective equipment package. We definitely felt comfortable in our upscale Xcellence version, which is only topped by the sportier FR version. The driving pleasure and fast exterior design were convincing in the test.
