Seat Arona Xcellence | All too good crossover

In general, the mini SUV is a lot of fun to drive. The mini-SUV is already tempting controversy with its title. Because ultimately it's a question of taste whether you see this automobile as a sporty and maneuverable companion or as a wannabe SUV. The Arona convinced us in any case, especially since the price/performance ratio was basically right (23,890 euros).

The extremely moderate fuel consumption is undoubtedly particularly pleasing. The engine was rigorously manufactured according to the downsizing principle, according to which small-displacement, light but powerful 3-cylinders are raised to the level of 4-cylinders. We tested the 115 hp 1.0 direct injection turbo gasoline engine, which neither pushes nor gets really loud even in the high speed range. In short: it's a lot of fun to drive the new Seat Star.

As is usual with Seat, the Arona is offered in the equipment versions Reference, Style, Xcellence and FR. In any case, the full range is taken care of: the new paint finishes and the grey, black, orange and roofs painted in the vehicle color ensure a total of 68 possible color combinations. The interior impresses with its simple and pragmatic usability. The workmanship is at a high level.

Conclusion: Seat has definitely achieved a coup with the Arona. An excellent crossover at a fair price/performance ratio with a design that's a bit too good. (building)
