Santander asks retailers the crucial question
The Santander Consumer Bank wanted to know: How satisfied are Austria's car dealers with the bank's financing service?

Santander asks retailers the crucial question
On behalf of Santander Consumer Bank, the market research institute “Telemark Marketing” surveyed 400 of the financial service provider’s vehicle dealer partners from all over Austria about their satisfaction with their financing cooperation. The values in various categories were collected in August 2021.
The results of the survey give the bank a positive rating: 92 percent of the car dealers surveyed were satisfied with the service provided by Santander Consumer Bank at the time of the interviews. 88 percent would recommend Santander.
"We see ourselves as part of the Austrian motor vehicle trade and support them even in difficult phases. If there is a problem, we try to find a solution quickly and unbureaucratically, even in times of the pandemic. It is all the better that our efforts are so recognized by our partners," says Michael Schwaiger, Chief Commercial Officer of Santander Consumer Bank.
97 percent satisfied with the payout process
The financial institution also scored points on a personal level: 92 percent of those surveyed rated the communication with their contact person at Santander as positive. The financial aspect of the collaboration also caused the percentage bars to shoot up: with an approval rate of 97 percent, almost all of the car dealers surveyed were satisfied with the bank's payout process. In addition, the expanded earning potential was viewed favorably by 92 percent of participants.
"These results are a pleasing confirmation of a collaboration with our partners in the automotive industry that is characterized by appreciation and trust. However, we do not take this as an opportunity to rest on our laurels, but rather continue to strive to guarantee local car dealers the best possible service and optimal financing products," says Schwaiger.
