This year, Santander Consumer Bank and the Japanese car manufacturer Suzuki are celebrating the tenth anniversary of their cooperation.
Santander celebrates with Suzuki
Under the Suzuki Finance brand, Santander offers vehicle financing to authorized dealers and their customers. As of July 2017, the cooperation was extended for another year. Since 2007, Santander Consumer Bank (GE Money Bank until 2009) and Suzuki Austria have been financing partners in Austria. “The close and personal support of the car and motorcycle dealers was certainly crucial for the successful collaboration,” says Michael Schwaiger, Commercial Director Auto Business at Santander Consumer Bank. The cooperation is running successfully: there are 149 Suzuki dealers in Austria. “In the first half of 2017, almost one in six Suzukis was financed through Santander,” says Schwaiger happily.
