Renault: Zoe is the best-selling electric car in Austria
In January 2020, one in four newly registered electric cars was a Renault Zoe. The trend follows the last few years.

"With the completely updated Zoe and our customer-oriented electromobility campaigns such as zero percent green leasing, we have correctly assessed the expectations of our customers. 168 Zoes in the electric car segment; that is 167 percent more vehicles than the runner-up was able to register. This makes us the market leader in Austria - as well as in Germany and Switzerland. In this way, we underline our competence in this area and, together with our experienced dealer network, we are happy about a great success that we are yet to achieve will continue to expand,” says Olivier Wittmann, Country Operations Director of Renault Austria.
The Renault Zoe has been in production since 2012 and was revised in November 2019. By the end of January 2020, it had sold almost 192,000 copies worldwide. The purely electric compact car has been available in Austria since 2013 and has since been registered around 5,500 times, making it the best-selling electric car in Austria overall.
