The little, orange Frenchman with its 900 cubic three-cylinder engine on the rear axle and rear-wheel drive is an animating fellow.

Renault Twingo GT

The drill runs a bit rough and growly, becoming increasingly lively as the speed increases. The direct steering, the small turning circle (8.6 meters), the crisp 5-speed manual transmission and the super-compact dimensions (length 3.6 meters) allow the flyweight (1,076 kg) to zip quickly through the city. Plus the stylish interior and exterior – it fits. But: There is still a lot of thin plastic and the consumption of well over seven liters with a tank that only holds 35 liters noticeably limits the range. Conclusion: colorful city athlete with an agile rear.
