Thilo Schmidt, Country Operations Director Renault Austria:"Over the past year, together with our dealer network, we have proven how adaptable we are. Despite the global pandemic, closed showrooms and many other previously completely unthinkable scenarios, Renault was able to deliver, sold more electric cars than ever before, successfully launched its E-Tech hybrid models and achieved the CAFE emissions targets. For the first time in our history, with the Zoe an electric car, the third best-selling Renault modeland with over 2,070 salestwice as strong as last year. For the current year, it is now important to stabilize the overall market and bring it back towards pre-crisis levels, and our excellent CO2-Maintain balance sheet. We are relying on brand new models, such as the third Renault Kangoo generation, our first Renault SUV coupé Arkana and the new Dacia Sandero model family. At the same time, we are continuing to expand our range of alternative drives with new E-Tech full and plug-in hybrids, the new Renault Twingo Electric and the Dacia Spring Electric.”
