Renault Koleos: carriage for the long journey

Feel: After just a few days of using the Renault Koleos in city traffic, on motorways and country roads as well as in shopping center parking lots, the SUV, which initially seemed a bit bulky and intimidating, feels like a loyal and practical everyday companion. The driver and passengers enjoy the generous amount of space, the controls do not pose any puzzles and fulfill their role as useful helpers without taking center stage. This way, you'll quickly get to know your way around Koleos and won't be puzzled over strange symbols or mysterious buttons.

Drive: If necessary, the 177 hp turbodiesel could accelerate the carriage from 0 to 100 km/h in just 9.5 seconds, but the desire for a cavalier start can easily be controlled behind the wheel of the comfortable SUV. Instead, it cruises extremely pleasantly through the city and countryside, supported by the finely tuned CVT transmission. The high seating position, the comfortable seating and the subtle background noise make even long journeys pure pleasure.

Load: The passengers in the back seats have more knee room than in a business class, and there is plenty of storage space for luggage. With the rear seats folded down, the trunk volume increases from 498 to an impressive 1,706 liters, so that even bulky sports equipment can be taken with you.

Conclusion: The design of the Koleos probably won't win any awards and won't make a big splash on the boulevard. However, the inner values of the well-designed SUV are convincing, so that the joy of traveling and tackling everyday journeys is likely to last for a long time.
