In Europe and Austria, Renault achieved an electric car market share of 27 percent so far this year as of the end of July. In the first half of 2016 alone, Renault sold over 15,000 electric vehicles across Europe (excluding Twizy). This corresponds to an increase of 32 percent compared to the same period last year. In the home market of France, every second newly registered electric vehicle now comes from Renault, and in Austria more than every fourth. “Renault achieved a customer satisfaction score of 98 percent for the ZOE,” explains Eric Feunteun, Renault Electric Vehicles Director. In Austria, Renault sold a total of 637 electric vehicles this year up to and including July 2016. This corresponds to an increase of 225 percent compared to the same period last year. Renault's electric car market share is 27 percent (excluding Twizy). The most popular model is the five-door ZOE with 566 units and a market share of 24 percent.
