Investing in the future – despite the Corona crisis at Reifen Göggel in Gammertingen. The first four of a total of 12 new water tanks have now been delivered to implement a new fire protection and extinguishing water concept. They were inserted into the excavated soil using a special truck crane. The tanks serve as fire water storage for the fire brigade, and sometimes also as process water storage. Each of the tanks weighs 13 tons and has a capacity of 100,000 liters. This fire protection and extinguishing water concept alone requires around one million euros in investment. A further two million euros are earmarked for the expansion of the logistics center, which will also be gradually tackled shortly. Only local craft businesses are commissioned to carry out the work.

Constant investments in Reifen Göggel's online tire shop have made this company one of the largest wholesalers in its industry in Germany, thanks to a modern logistics system and an in-house fleet. With more than 120 vans, the Swabian wholesaler enables its customers to have quick and reliable availability of goods, even in times of the Corona crisis.
