Over 250 guests accepted the invitation to the RAINER Group's anniversary party on May 21st at the Rainer Megastore Süd in Vienna to properly celebrate the company's successful history together.
RAINER Group celebrates 60th anniversary
60 years have passed since Inge and Senator KR Burkhard L. Ernst laid the foundation for an extraordinary success story with the opening of the first car dealership on Vienna's Rainergasse. Six decades later, RAINER presents itself as a diverse and successful group of companies with car dealerships, a broad real estate portfolio as well as numerous hotels and a film production facility. KR Prof. Burkhard W. R. Ernst, CEO of the RAINER Group, explains the recipe for success of the traditional family business: "We have always accepted the numerous changes of the past 60 years as a family, have been able to master them well and ultimately use them to the advantage of the company. We have always remained loyal to the vehicle trade and with real estate, hotels and film production we have been able to open up new business areas that have been both an economic and family success." KR Gabriela Lemberger, also a board member of the RAINER Group, adds: "Three generations of the family are now fully integrated into the company. However, the family element lies not only in the names Ernst and Lemberger, but in a team of employees that has grown over the decades."
Prominent guests from business and politics congratulated
To celebrate the milestone birthday, family, friends and business partners toasted the important company history. Under the motto the “wonderful 60s”, the RAINER Megastore South was transformed into a ballroom that was filled with music, good conversations and an exuberant atmosphere.
Among the evening's prominent guests were Walter Ruck, President of the Vienna Chamber of Commerce, Executive City Councilor Peter Hanke, National Council member Karl Mahrer and moderator Vera Russwurm-Hofbauer.
The founder and full-blooded entrepreneur, Senator KR Burkhard L. Ernst, summarizes the anniversary: "We can look back on the last 60 years with great pride and joy. 60 years full of fun at work and passion for business; 60 years in which a lot has changed, but our founding spirit and our corporate values of a family business have always been retained."
