When Dario Hajdarevic took over the management of MVC Motors at Brünnerstrasse 66 in September 2016, he proclaimed the “Year of Not Complaining”. In other words: the almost 100 employees were informed that people were the priority and that together we could continue to be successful. The calculation worked: "We work profitably in all segments and have optimized numerous processes. Ultimately, it's neither about the brand nor about the car dealership, but about the employees. These are crucial, I'm just the trainer," explains Hajdarevic in an interview with KFZ Wirtschaft. MVC Motors. Now the success story continues to be written every day. MVC sells 650 new cars and 350 used cars every year.
The FordStore, which has been decorating the dealership since summer 2016, provides great customer feedback. FordStores are, so to speak, the brand's premium halls with a living room atmosphere, offer an extremely elegant appearance, a relaxed atmosphere and - equipped with interactive technologies - enable products and services to be presented in a unique ambience. The vehicle models are arranged according to “families”. For example, all SUVs or vans can be compared at a glance. The models can not only be experienced live, but also experienced interactively and playfully. Desired models are configured on tablets. In the luxuriously sophisticated Ford Vignale Lounge you can find the right model with exclusive materials, colors, technologies and services. The iconic Mustang is available exclusively in the Ford Store: “The Mustang is a great image carrier for Ford and does a lot of good for the brand,” says Hajdarevic. When it comes to the coolness factor and the price/performance ratio of the Mustang, the icon is unrivaled. And so the cult car is ultimately not only an excellent image carrier, but it also sells well. The feedback from customers about the FordStore is in any case extremely positive: “We have many regular customers. People who have been loyal to us for years, even decades,” explains Dario Hajdarevic.”
OPTICS OF THE CAR DEALER
A car dealership must also develop visually. "Especially in urban areas, where the competition is fierce," the MVC location manager is convinced. Car dealerships that have looked the same for years will have an increasingly difficult time in the future. What Hajdarevic is particularly pleased about: "Our employees are completely behind the Ford store concept." This is extremely important, especially since the team is the essential part of the daily work, because the individual products are, so to speak, interchangeable. Personal customer care from employees is important. Hajdarevic has introduced an employee day once a year, which brings the team even closer together. The families of the employees are invited, and the children are particularly welcome, for whom there are tailor-made programs on this day. The site manager is pleased with the constellation of his team, which consists of experienced “old hands” and young, online-savvy employees. Training is also important to Hajdarevic: “We are currently training eight apprentices.” And he is convinced: “No matter what changes are constantly taking place in the automotive industry, the individual employee will always remain the most important factor in the car dealership.”
