Porsche Holding launches into motorcycle retail

Exclusive Cars Vertriebs GmbH, a subsidiary of Porsche Holding Salzburg (PHS), is a Ducati wholesaler for Austria with 14 authorized dealers nationwide. With the founding of our own company in Vienna, the expansion into motorcycle retail took place. The new retail business will be managed and managed separately from the Ducati wholesale business. As a result of the insolvency of the company A. Ebner GmbH, which is expected to be completed by the end of 2019, PHS will take over the Ducati retail at the existing location in Guntramsdorf through its new retail company at the beginning of 2020. In the course of the second quarter of 2020, the move to the new dealer location in Vienna Liesing is planned, where in addition to the sale and repair of Ducati motorcycles, Honda brand motorcycles will also be offered.

“Ducati is one of the leading brands in the premium segment, Honda is one of the market leaders in the volume segment,” says Dietmar Brandl, brand manager for Ducati Wholesale, explaining the step towards multi-brand retail. “By combining the two brands, we have a broad product portfolio that covers the different needs of customers.” The new location is on the Porsche Vienna Liesing site at Liesinger Flurgasse 14-18. With a total area of almost 2,000 square meters for the showroom and workshop, all services related to motorcycles, including the corresponding accessories and clothing range, are offered.
