Federal Minister Gewessler and ÖVP transport spokesman Ottenschläger visited the Vienna Trade Fair. E-mobility, innovations and new transport concepts were the focus of the two politicians' visits.

“We are pleased that we are able to welcome not only the most important representatives of the entire automotive industry at the Vienna Autoshow, but also central figures in transport and mobility policy,” emphasized Benedikt Binder-krieglstein, CEO of trade fair organizer Reed Exhibitions Austria. Federal Minister Leonore Gewessler and Reed CEO Binder-krieglstein took a joint tour of the Vienna Autoshow to the official opening of the E-Mobility Area. This special show is eight times larger this year than last year and will be showing various electric cars until Sunday (January 19th). At the opening press conference, Andreas Ottenschlager underlined the goal set with the new coalition partner to “further develop the economy and ecology in harmony” and the “great interest in ensuring that jobs, research, development and value creation are maintained in Austria.”
