Pirelli offers its partners a new edition of the E-LEARNING PLATFORM “Pirelli tire Campus”. In addition to general information about black rubber, there is also a lot of detailed knowledge about the respective Pirelli models. We took a closer look at the platform.
Pirelli: E-learning platform
Tires are round, black and made of rubber. Done, you might think. But modern car tires are high-tech products that contain a lot of technology and know-how. That’s why Pirelli has given its e-learning platform “Pirelli Tire Campus” an update: 2.0. Norbert Allgäuer-Wiederhold, head of Pirelli Germany's in-house training academy, explains the objective: "We want to train users to become certified Pirelli product experts. Profound knowledge of our products and technologies should enable them to present convincing and targeted arguments when advising customers, which will make it easier to sell our tires."
MODULAR LEARNING ON TEACHING PATHS
The relaunch of the platform can be used without any problems for users of the first version; the login and password remain the same. The main thing that has changed is the technical implementation; the website should now run more quickly and the layout has been modernized. The structure is based on various modules called “educational paths”.
Users can select and work through each module as they wish. In the respective paths (e.g. Tire Basics, Summer, Winter or P Zero4) the basics and product-specific information are explained interactively and users are encouraged to participate. Just clicking through quickly is not possible. The layout is clear, modern and also optimized for mobile devices (smartphones, tablets).

In addition to the existing modules, other paths will also be gradually added and activated in the coming months. At the end, every certified employee who has mastered the campus trails receives a certificate. The certified companies receive a wall plaque and an entry in the Pirelli online dealer search. And for stressed tire dealers: the platform automatically saves the learning progress. This means that learning can continue even during breaks, and if a customer suddenly appears in the yard, the progress will not be lost. We were able to see for ourselves with a test account and were pleasantly surprised at how deeply you can delve into the world of tires.
