Personnel: New sales director at Mazda Austria

Mazda Austria is setting new course in sales management. Hendrik Jacob will be in charge of sales as of September. He is 41 years old, born in Düren near Cologne and has been with Mazda for 14 years, including in sales planning, product marketing and sales. He most recently worked at Mazda Germany, before that at Mazda in Holland and at Mazda's European headquarters. He and his family have now moved to Klagenfurt for the new job as sales director at Mazda Austria.
“The place and time couldn’t be better for me,” says Hendrik Jacob, looking forward to his new task in Austria. "Mazda has recorded a sales increase of 6% this year through August. And thanks to smart planning, Mazda now has the market advantage of not having any delivery problems due to the new WLTP standard. The new facelift models of the Mazda6, CX-3 and CX-5 provide additional tailwind." In addition to Hendrik Jacob, his predecessor as head of sales: Rüdiger Graschitz also retains a key role at Mazda Austria. He will now be responsible for the growing business with commercial customers.
