The world's leading ignition and sensor specialist NGK Spark Plug Europe has filled the position of Head of Sales Aftermarket DACH with Thomas Nelles. From March 1, 2020, the experienced sales specialist will take over from Peter Sens in this position. In his new position, Nelles reports to Director Central Europe Aftermarket EMEA Marc Kuntzsch and takes over the management of the DACH sales team, with whose support he will continuously expand existing customer relationships and create new contacts.
From 2004 to 2014, Nelles was responsible for sales and purchasing at Hess Autoteile. He then moved to Schaeffler's Automotive Aftermarket division as Sales Manager for Central Europe for three years until he returned to Hess Holding as part of the management team in June 2018. With his extensive knowledge of the parts market, his operational know-how and decades of experience as an international sales expert, he will drive and accelerate NGK's further growth.
