With the new L200 generation, Mitsubishi is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the pick-up model. The pickup has been thoroughly redesigned and made fit for demanding work. The outfit is characterized by the new Dynamic Shield design. The off-road performance system has also been further improved, and there are also numerous active safety technology details and state-of-the-art driver assistance systems. The new four-cylinder turbodiesel intercooler 16V aluminum DOHC engine with MIVEC variable valve control in the L200 pick-up model offers powerful drive performance with 110 kW/150 hp at 3,500 rpm. The maximum torque of 400 Nm at 2,000 rpm is offered in combination with a 6-speed manual box or, for an additional charge, with a new six-speed automatic transmission including steering wheel shift paddles plus sports mode. An SCR exhaust gas cleaning system with urine substance injection ensures compliance with the strict Euro 6d-Temp EVAP emissions standard for light commercial vehicles. The maximum towing capacity is a maximum of 3,000 kg for the club cabin and up to 3,100 kg for the double cabin.
