If the necessary safety measures are observed, driving safety training can be completed again and courses that have already been booked and could not be carried out due to the closure can be rescheduled. The company has defined a comprehensive package of measures for the return to operations, which includes stricter hygiene and the necessary safety measures. Participants and visitors as well as employees must adhere to the following rules until further notice:

* All training rooms and materials such as: B. radio devices and rental vehicles are disinfected several times a day by ÖAMTC Fahrtechnik employees. In addition, disinfectants in the form of hand dispensers are available for participants in all centers.

* A prepared seating arrangement in the seminar rooms guarantees a minimum distance of 1.5 meters between course participants.

* More training content should be completed in the fresh air. In addition, due to COVID-19 regulations, restaurants in the centers will remain closed until further notice.

* It is compulsory to wear a face mask in all buildings and rooms. Participants are recommended to bring their own face mask and gloves. Each participant will receive a face mask free of charge upon request. You must bring your own work gloves for load securing courses.

* You must bring your own weatherproof motorcycle clothing for all two-wheel training courses. Own helmets are recommended. If a rental helmet is needed, disposable hoods are available.

Driving technique training in one of the ÖAMTC driving technique centers gives bikers safety. From May 1, 2020, warm-ups and active training for motorcyclists can be completed again. "In our training you perfect the optimal handling of the bike. No matter whether cornering, viewing or braking technique - every participant gains driving safety," explains Karl-Martin Studener, managing director of ÖAMTC driving technology. Motorcyclists have the opportunity to apply for special funding for driving safety and technical training. Payments already made will of course be taken into account. The number of multi-phase car and motorcycle training courses in all eight driving technique centers in Austria has been increased so that training backlogs for all new drivers can be processed as quickly as possible. As usual, appointments from May 1, 2020 can be found at  www.fahrtechnik.at  can be booked online.
