NGK with new distribution center
NGK Spark Plug Europe is significantly expanding its storage and logistics capacities. The ignition and sensor provider moved into a state-of-the-art delivery warehouse at the Duisburg location, which will now supply original equipment and aftermarket customers in 44 countries with the products of the largest spark plug, glow plug and lambda sensor manufacturer in the world. Thanks to the expansion, NGK can now ship around one million products per day, spread over 300 deliveries and around 5,000 delivery positions, to aftermarket customers. The key data for the new delivery warehouse in Duisburg: 22,000 pallet storage spaces, 21,000 square meters of storage space, 44,000 shuttle storage spaces and over 100 employees.
