As of October 1, 2021, Markus Siebrecht will be the new CEO of Renault Deutschland AG and Managing Director of the D-A-CH sales region.
New Managing Director at Renault for the DACH sales region
Markus Siebrecht, 55, began his automotive career at BMW AG in 1989. He worked there until 2005 in various management positions in the areas of sales and marketing, including Area Manager Middle East and Head of Sales and Marketing BMW M. In 2006, the Bochum native moved to Audi AG. After positions as general sales manager for the East region and head of marketing in Germany, Siebrecht was most recently Vice President of Global After Sales at the head of Audi AG's global after sales service.
After completing an apprenticeship as a vehicle mechanic, Markus Siebrecht studied business administration at the Federal School of Business Administration in Calw (Baden-Württemberg) with a degree in automotive business administration. The previous Renault Germany boss Uwe Hochgeschurtz left the company on August 31, 2021.
