New Hyundai president
Michael Cole will assume the position of President and CEO of Hyundai Motor Europe, Hyundai's European headquarters, effective July 1, 2020.

Cole continues his career within Hyundai Motor Group, where he has held various senior positions within the Kia brand over the past eleven years, most recently as President of Kia Motors America. He succeeds Dongwoo Choi, who has held the position for the past two years. Michael Cole gained experience in senior positions at national and regional levels, which he now brings to Hyundai Motor Europe. Prior to Kia Motors America, he was Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Kia Motors Europe and Managing Director of Kia Motors UK. He helped drive the business forward strategically and operationally - in the areas of sales, marketing, product planning, customer service and trading.
