New CEO at Michelin

Michelin is restructuring the sales team in Austria and has appointed Roland Steinberger as Managing Director of Michelin Austria since November 1, 2020. The business economist has been working for the premium tire manufacturer in various sales positions for over eight years and has also gained many years of experience in the tire trade. In his last position at Michelin, he was sales manager for passenger cars in Austria.

"I am looking forward to my new position as Managing Director. The Austrian market is strategically very important for the DACH region, which made it all the more important to set up a sales team that is focused on local customer needs."says Steinberger.

In addition to Steinberger, Philipp Ostbomk will also retain the role of Managing Director in Austria, who also serves as Managing Director DACH and is Director of B2B Sales for the German-speaking region at Michelin.
