New managing director at Renault
At the beginning of the second half of the year, Ralf Benecke will take over the management of Renault Österreich GmbH and will therefore be responsible for the brands Renault, Dacia, Alpine and Mobilize.

Ralf Benecke (46) follows Martin Labaye (39), who will return to the headquarters in France on July 1st. Benecke started his professional career in 2007 as a trainee at Renault Deutschland AG. At the end of 2014, he took over the management of the “Strategic Projects” department; from July 2016, as Marketing Director of RCI Banque Deutschland, he was responsible for the brand and sales strategy in the financial services sector. In 2018 he returned to Renault Deutschland AG, now as Customer Director. In 2019, he also took on responsibility for the areas of technology, training and customer experience as board member for quality and customer service. In January 2021, he moved to Head of Marketing. In 2023, his path took him to the Renault Group headquarters in Paris, where he is responsible for the Renault brand as global director for sales and distribution efficiency. Benecke on his new role as Renault Austria Managing Director: "My goal is to maintain what has been tried and tested, to provide new impulses and to further strengthen the close cooperation with our employees, dealer partners and customers. With team spirit, openness and a passion for innovation, we can and will actively shape the mobility of tomorrow." His predecessor, Martin Labaye, will be responsible for all four Renault Group brands as Director Sales Forecast & Reporting from July 1, 2025 and will report directly to Eric Laforge, VP Commercial Services.
