New Secretary General Austria Motorsport (AMF)

Michael Fehlmann now leads Austria Motorsport as General Secretary together with AMF President Harald Hertz. "With Michael Fehlmann, Austria Motorsport has brought an experienced event organizer and communications professional on board. We are currently going through our first joint test in these extraordinary days. I am convinced that Michael Fehlmann, with his know-how and together with a perfectly coordinated team, will consolidate and further develop Austria Motorsport as a service point for motorsport in Austria in the long term," AMF President Hertz looks positively into the future.

Fehlmann looks back on a long-standing ÖAMTC history: Starting as a car instructor at the ÖAMTC driving technology center in Teesdorf in 1997, over the years he took on various tasks in the areas of event organization, communication, moderation and sales. Last year, the 44-year-old Viennese switched to the Austrian Motorsport Federation. "There are many exciting tasks and major challenges ahead of us - not only, but also due to the current situation, which of course also affects motorsport. In order to lead our sport together into a successful future, we have to pool our strengths," the new AMF Secretary General relies on transparent and constructive cooperation with everyone involved.
