New Federal Guild Master for Vehicle Technology

Keglovits-Ackerer is taking on the structural reforms in the federal guild pushed forward by Harb with great enthusiasm. With the help of the competence centers that have already been formed, training and further education concepts are to be created for the member companies. There will also be service offerings such as access to repair and maintenance information in order to overcome the diverse challenges of the future. As an essential part of the mobility industry, the Federal Vehicle Technology Guild also wants to develop new mobility services and offer them to members with appropriate training.

Workshop in transition

"New vehicles are coming onto the road. We have to make sure that they are serviced and repaired. Only we can do that," says Keglovits-Ackerer. The wheel of innovation in automotive technology is turning faster and faster; today we are talking about e-mobility, tomorrow about autonomous driving and car-2-x communication. It is therefore important for the Federal Guild as a representative of interested parties to develop new mobility services. The example of Microsoft shows how it could work: On the one hand, sell the software product and, on the other hand, offer paid software training courses. Keglovits-Ackerer: “We have to succeed in this in the mobility industry.”
