New industry meeting in Wieselburg

Slowly but surely some normality is returning to our lives. And some people are already dreaming of major events and those trade fairs that were missed so much in 2020 and 2021. By 2022 at the latest, the Corona scare should be over enough for such industry meetings to take place again.

And then there will be a new highlight: On January 28th and 29th, 2022, the specialist days for bodywork, painting & damage management (KLS) will start for the first time at the Wieselburg exhibition center. The target group for the event are managers and specialists from the entire field of vehicle repair and servicing, especially workshops with a focus on bodywork and painting.

A similarly positioned specialist conference has been well established in Würzburg for years and was also followed closely by Austrian industry representatives. The team at Messe Wieselburg GmbH is now taking up the suggestion of well-known suppliers from the above-mentioned segment and will be holding a similar specialist conference in Austria for the first time at the end of January 2022.

Federal guild is on board

The Wieselburg trade fair location is ideally suited for this new specialist event: its location a few kilometers from the A1 West motorway (Ybbs/Wieselburg exit) enables manageable journey times from east and west. An area of around 6,000 m² is planned for the first edition of the KLS in the exhibition center itself.

There is also support from the interest group: In May 2021, the Federal Automotive Technology Guild Committee unanimously decided on a long-term, close cooperation with the Wieselburg KLS specialist days. “It is particularly important to the Federal Guild to provide our member companies with comprehensive information that is necessary for daily workshop operations,” says Federal Guild Master Deputy Manfred Kubik, head of the Member Service Competence Center within the Federal Guild. "Two industry events will take place soon in spring 2022. Due to the limited resources, it was necessary for us to decide which ones we could get intensively involved in and make the most of," continued Kubik. As reported, the AutoZum trade fair is scheduled to take place in March 2022.

The guild finally decided on Wieselburg. “Austrian insurance companies spend €2.2 billion annually on claims settlement in our industry,” emphasizes Federal Guild Master Josef Harb. "To ensure everything runs smoothly, comprehensive knowledge is required in the workshops. And that's what we want to convey at the Wieselburg KLS specialist days." Thanks to the congress format with accompanying presentation areas, the Wieselburg KLS specialist days would offer the ideal platform for conveying the federal guild's expert knowledge in a practical way.
