New rubber from Goodyear and Dunlop

At the ÖAMTC summer tire test, Goodyear and Dunlop were not represented in the 17-inch tires. This was because the new summer tires were introduced just a few days ago. With the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3, Goodyear wants to score big points again in the UHP (Ultra High Performance) sector and has been able to further improve its very sporty summer tire in almost all categories. Dunlop has also given the successful Sport Maxx RT – now with the abbreviation “2” at the end – an update and was able to optimize the sports tire in the areas of stability, steering precision and behavior during high-speed braking. As a treat, Goodyear presented two new concept tires at the Geneva Motor Show: The egale-360 is spherical, comes from a 3D printer and was developed for future, autonomous car models. The IntelliGrip has also already been designed for autonomous vehicles and is intended to improve data exchange between the vehicle and the road thanks to the latest sensor technology.
