New Managing Director at Reed Exhibitions

Leithner succeeds Dietmar Eiden, who previously held the position of Managing Director for B2B trade fairs and is leaving the company at his own request for his home country of Germany. Barbara Leithner (43) has worked at Reed Exhibitions in a variety of functions since 2010 and, in addition to corporate affairs, was responsible for the introduction of a new ERP system. Before that, she was, among other things, in charge of the development and implementation of successful trade fairs such as the VIECC Vienna Comic Con and the Vienna Real Estate Fair and is therefore very familiar with all areas of the company. “With Barbara Leithner, a long-time trade fair expert is joining the management team, who not only knows our portfolio very well, but will also successfully develop it further,” says Benedikt Binder-krieglstein, CEO of Reed Exhibitions Austria.
