New car registrations: 82,363 new car registrations were registered in the third quarter of 2019 and are therefore 0.6%, just below the previous year's result (-534 units).

The car segments
The highest increases were recorded in the mid-size (+22.3%) and commercial (+15.7%) as well as off-road vehicle (+13.1%) segments. However, the Family Van (-31.4%) and Micro-Van (-28.2%) segments suffered the largest losses.
The brands
When it comes to used vehicles, just over 40 % of brands recorded increases. In addition to Škoda, VW and BMW, Mercedes-Benz (+744 units) and Audi (+738 units) also achieved significant growth. In addition to Renault, Peugeot and Fiat, Nissan (-404 units) and Alfa Romeo (-397 units) also suffered significant losses in unit sales in this quarter.
The segments
The medium off-road vehicle (+10.3%) and off-road vehicle (+5.7%) segments recorded the highest growth in the third quarter. However, the Micro Van (-6.5%) and Family Van (-4.4%) segments suffered the greatest losses.
Used car registrations
Used car registrations recorded a slight increase of 0.1% in the third quarter of 2019. 229,671 used vehicles changed hands between July and September 2019 (+235 units compared to the previous year).
