Moon landing in Vienna

At Moon everything revolves around the topic of e-mobility. With over 50,000 visitors and numerous Austrian premieres such as VW ID.3 and VW ID.4, Audi e-tron GT, Audi Q4 e-tron, Škoda Enyaq iV, Cupra Born and Porsche Taycan Turbo S, the Mooncity Vienna E-Mobility pop-up store on Vienna's Mariahilfer Straße, which closed as planned in July of this year, achieved a success. Based on these experiences, the Mooncity concept has now been further developed for the new location at Kärntner Straße 26. Wilfried Weitgasser, Managing Director of Porsche Austria: “Starting in November, the Audi brand will begin, which will transform Mooncity Vienna into an exciting ‘House of Progress’.” The brands of the Volkswagen Group will subsequently use the Porsche Holding Salzburg e-mobility flagship store either across brands or exclusively.

Place of dialogue

Mooncity is designed as a place for dialogue where you can get comprehensive information about e-mobility and charging infrastructure and examine and test the latest e-models. The first floor offers space for smaller events or discussion groups. There is also the opportunity for test drives, which will be offered in the nearby Kärntner Straße underground car park next to the Vienna State Opera from November. A fleet of up to six electric models from the Volkswagen Group brands will be permanently available. As part of a sneak preview, the Porsche sports car brand covered the spectrum from the roots of e-mobility to the future with exhibits such as the Lohner-Porsche Mixte from 1901, the current Taycan Cross Turismo and the groundbreaking all-electric Porsche Mission R racing study.
