Mirka presents the new POLAROS RP 600 rotary polishing machine

The Finnish grinding and polishing specialist Mirka has developed a new, cable-connected rotary polishing machine with the POLAROS RP 600. The device is specifically designed for professional users in areas such as vehicle repair, woodworking and marine applications.

The machine features a flat, ergonomic design. The compact design puts the center of gravity closer to the surface, allowing for more precise guidance and better control.

A central feature of the POLAROS RP 600 is the intelligent speed control with ramp up and ramp down functions. The ramp up function ensures a smooth start and prevents polishing agent from splashing. Ramp Down mode automatically reduces speed if pressure is too high to protect tool and surface.

The brushless 750 watt motor enables speeds between 700 and 2,500 revolutions per minute. Despite the high performance, the machine remains light with a weight of 1.75 kilograms and operates with a noise level of less than 60 decibels. It can be connected to the myMirka app via Bluetooth to evaluate vibration data and personalize settings.

The POLAROS RP 600 is supplied with a soft backing pad as standard and is suitable for use on various materials - from paint to glass to gelcoat. Mirka positions the device as a new solution for precise, efficient and ergonomic polishing in professional applications.
