Miba AG continues to grow

More than 100 million euros were invested in fixed assets and in research and development. The number of employees has grown to more than 5,800. With its first successful projects, Miba is exploiting new business opportunities in the areas of electrification and digitalization. “With the ‘Miba 2020 – Dynamic Evolution’ strategy, we are working towards group sales of one billion euros by 2020,” explains Miba boss F. Peter Mitterbauer. The Miba Group grew in the past financial year, especially in the automotive segment, because many manufacturers replaced previously used components with Miba powder metallurgy technologies. Miba has also been working on new forms of drive such as hybrid technology and pure electric drive for several years. “We have set up a central “E-Mobility Innovation Lab” and are also developing solutions for hybrid and purely electric drive technologies in the individual divisions,” explains F. Peter Mitterbauer. The first successful projects in collaboration with customers show that the group is on the right track.
