MAHLE receives gold rating in the EcoVadis sustainability rating

MAHLE received the gold medal in the current EcoVadis sustainability rating. The group improved in all assessment categories and, with 82 points, is one of the leading companies worldwide.

MAHLE receives gold rating in the EcoVadis sustainability rating

The technology group MAHLE was awarded the Gold Medal by EcoVadis, an internationally recognized provider of sustainability ratings. With 82 out of 100 possible points, the company is among the top five percent of all companies evaluated worldwide. Compared to the previous year, MAHLE was able to further improve its results in the areas of the environment, labor and human rights, ethics and sustainable procurement.

The group received particularly high ratings in the environmental, labor and human rights categories. In 2024, MAHLE reduced its direct emissions by 47 percent compared to 2019 and reduced indirect supply chain emissions by 17 percent. The accident rate in the company fell from 2.8 to 2.1 accidents with lost days per million working hours.

Other measures include signing the UN Women’s Empowerment Principles and confirming the climate goals through the Science Based Targets Initiative. MAHLE also received the “ESG Transparency Award” in 2024 for its sustainability reporting.

EcoVadis assesses the environmental, social and ethical performance of more than 150,000 companies in 185 countries. The results serve as a basis for companies worldwide to improve their sustainability performance and supply chains.
